it's baaack...

So, I'm sitting here in the writing center (where I work) in the middle of midterms and think to myself: "So, Soph, you've got 2 papers, a project and a test, all on Friday. What are you going to do? ... Write a Blog Post, of course!"

So here it is, the height of procrastination. I don't want to work.

Honestly, I'm just drained. It's been absolutely exhausting for the past couple of weeks, and I seem to have made more enemies than I planned to ... oops ...

These seniors that I stage managed for (it was their thesis) lost one of their actors (who had to leave in the middle of the rehearsal period to go to India, because his grandmother died) and the director stepped into the role. This show was my absolute biggest nightmare. I wanted to scream, honestly. They focused entirely on the set because they couldn't get their shit together acting wise. And I got fed up and told them exactly what was on my mind (well done, Sophie, because losing your temper ALWAYS works out for you, doesn't it). So now they all hate me -- didn't even invite me to the cast party -- but it's cool because they're all graduating anyway ...

I'm not going home for spring break, in case you're wondering, Amanda (I know that you're the only person that reads this, don't lie). I'm leaving the country to travel fro a little while. And then it's straight back to school for a couple of weeks and then ... whew. Halfway done.

Why do I feel like I'm 90 all of a sudden?

...I am most certainly not the only one that reads this. I'm just the only one that comments!
I have so much to tell you...I'm going to spend my summer speaking only Russian though (which is one of the things I needed to tell you) so we won't be able to catch up this summer, so call me sometime, okay lady?

And no matter how much you yelled at me, I would ALWAYS invite you to my cast party :-)
